Current Status: Right now, I'm doing linguistic anthropology at UNC Charlotte. The next stop for my dialects work is western Japan. My love is language and the people who use it. Current language projects are Tokushima Japanese, Ladino (Judeo-Spanish), and Israeli Hebrew. 今、俺がUNCCで言語学の人類学をしている。次ストップ、方言の勉強に西日本だ。俺の愛は言葉と言葉使用者達だ。今言葉計画が徳島の日本語とユダヤのスペイン語とイスラエルのヘブライ語だ。
Hobbies include: fleeing from customs authorities, suicidal ocean kayaking, travel when money allows it, learning a crap load of languages, foot-to-mouth combat, unresponsible sword play, looking stupid in front of large groups of people, and getting followed around by more local law enforcement than a tour group of North Korean military officials at an used plutonium sale. I also enjoy exaggerating things, but there's always a gem of truth in every bucket of garbage I spew out...
